Need legal help against bangalore builder for charging arbitrarily

We brought villa in gated community.builder did land registration & made us sign construction agreement i.e total built up area of as 2800 sqft.Howevr there was no rate per square feet mentioned. when we asked he declined to provide info and since we already paid substantial amount, any delay in payment for open clarification he will threaten to stall construction.now there is delay in completion but he is charging us additional 8lakhs towards 182 sqft more area. How to get legal justice here
whether causing of delay in construction beyond agreed time and charging of additional amount by builder are wrongs on his part or permitted con be decided only on going through the agreement between parties. Soi you can come to meet with copy of agreement,
