Need assistance on succession certificate

Hi Dear,
My father passed away 6 years back and i want to sell my house which is on my father's name.
1st i want to know do i need succession certificate for that
2nd we have already applied fir succession certificate but someone has put the objection in the court and case is in pending.
Can i sell the house in these conditions.
no you can not sell your home without succession and without mutation of property.
