When there is a difference in your documents kindly go for municipal corporation town planner section and take area town planning map and verify it. if it is reflected in area plan then write all letter for update the plan as per your plan or corrections. In mean time better to go for injection. If there don't take the action then you can file a writ petition in high Court asking to correct /update the town plan. In mean time you can construct you house.

i can understand your dilemma and suffering. It is to be found whether the layout is approved by municipal, if so, the same would prevail and u have a limited remedy, which will be advised later. And if the same is not an approved layout, you can file a suit to stop him.

Hi
Both of you(yourself and your neighbour) should apply to the revenue officials for Field Measurement book and get the properties surveyed.
It is likely that one of your documents contain incorrect description of boundaries and both the parties should get the documents rectified by effecting a rectification deed at sub-registrar office.
