Mismatch sqft in layout plan and sale deed what to do.

12-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi I have bought a site as per layout plan its 600 sqft and as per saledeed its 800 which is valid point to contend. Layout was formed by society. Can we contend legally based on sale deed? People here say there was a pathway of 3m which is converted in to site adding extra 200 sqft , can we fight based on sale deed and site occupation certificate

sir, I Have gone through contents of your question. you stated in the contents that layout formed by society and as per layout plan it was 600 sq.ft. Now, it is 800sq.ft by adding 200 sq.ft extra curved out from pathway is defect one if it was legally not converted from competent authority. If the added extent of 200 sqft., is not necessary for the road between the layout site holders and general public and will not dispute by any person, then no problem. If any one challenge, it will be depend on consequences.
