Legality of a registered sale agreement which not stamped

My grandfather did conveyance of  ancestarial hereditary property ,undivided share of agricultural land to a industrial enterprise company without collector's permission u/s43 . Agreement is registered in 1981but no stamp duty paid. Is this conveyance legal or its bad in law???

Dear Client,
if the agreement is not registered it does not create any right title and interest in favour of the buyer. Also since its only ancestral property your grandfather was entitled to sell only his portion.
