Legalheir certificate for adopted son

16-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My uncle and aunt took care of me and give education. They have no children. They accepted me as their adopted son .And registered their property in my name in 2003. The deed mentions me as a "adopted son" .My name is with them on the ration card as "other relative". Both are now deceased. No will was written. Do I have the right to buy into the Dasildar office as their adopted son and as the legal heir? Or should I approach the court?

There is no need for will to be written. Your uncle and aunt had already settled their property in your name. Ration card is supporting evidence for the fact that they had treated you as their own child.

very good evening. If you want to become a legal heir, you can register freely through the Indian Adoption Act. For that you have to go to the office of the Registrar. Contact me for more details and I will help you declare themselves as the legal heir.
