legal recourse against builder for non completion of property

Property Question: Hello I have buy property in borivali and i have done stamp duty and registration but builder stop work from last 1 year. Is there any issues regarding property or i need to take any legal action

First your need to verify from competent authority about permission and documents pertaining to development of property and after going through the same legal position can be explained and what recourse can be taken against the builder.

Dear Sir,

Was the property under construction, please check the possession date written in your registered agreement, if the date is already passed and you have not received any letter from builder regarding extension then you may file a complain against the builder under RERA online and also at municipal corporation/ SRA /MHADA from where the approvals are given to the builder

we shall be able to get completion and compensation from the builder for the delay by filing a complaint in MAHARERA athority mumbai , that is the best way to go about this problem . thanks and regards
