Late birth certificate registration

It’s a matter of late birth registration of a child of a veteran 11 Gorkha Rifles who was posted in Lucknow Cantonment during 1980s. However, during those times due to lack of awareness the birth certificate was not obtained. The child was born in Lucknow army camp when the family was cohabiting.

ok you must go to the registrar of births and deaths to procure the

If the birth was never registered and the child is now an adult, late birth registration is still possible, but the process depends on the applicable law and the State rules. Generally, you should: Apply to the Registrar of Births and Deaths for delayed registration.
