land mentioned in Partition deed is different from present possession

Me and my brother had partition deed and the present his possession is in east side of the property and i have west side. We have FMB also for this. But original partition deed mentions it as opposite. West side is with his name and east with my name. How to fix this issue? do we need to create Correction deed for this?
better to file in court for proper division of property. then you compromise and appoint commissioner through court for proper division of property. then appoint a surveyor through proper division through the commissioner. All the issues decides in this.
