Joint ownership of apartment post death of primary owner

25-Mar-2025 (In Property Law)
We have an apartment in Bengaluru which is jointly registered in the name of my late husband and me. Post my husband's death, I procured a Legal Heir Certificate in which me and my two adult children are legal heirs. I am now going to sell this property in which case I will need to do e-khata transfer to the purchaser of the property. Can I directly do the e-khata in favour of the new buyer?

getting a hi Khata for the set property is your responsibility. then you pay the House Tax fill next march end. get encumbrance certificate. there after be careful in the dealing and upon signing the sale agreement. don't jump into transaction without a reputed property advocate advising you. take the money sign the sale deed. getting a hi Kaha Tha in the name of the purchaser is not your responsibility.
