My husband elder sister made gift deed of her property to my husband and her younger sister that is her brother and sister jointly. And now my husband want to transfer his property to my name. Is it possible to transfer when it's joint with his sister. We are Hindus

Ans: Once it was gifted, your husband will become the absolute owner of the said property. here he become the absolute owner for his share and he is having absolute right to transfer his share of the property.

Dear madam,
You have not mentioned how your husband elder sister acquired property which gifted to your husband, If that property self acquired of your husband elder sister, he can transfer that property to you.
