Issue With Neighbour Due To Coconut Tree

My neighbour has two coconut trees in his house near our compound wall. The coconut, the dried leaves and and other tree waste falls in our terrace. We could not use our own terrace in fear of coconut falling. Also we have to deal with the dry tree waste like leaves and other stuffs which falls into our terrace. Inspite of reporting it to the neighbour he is not responding. How can I deal with this issue? Is it legally right if I ask the owner to remove his coconut trees?

You cannot ask your neighbour to fell the coconut trees. But you can very well complaint against nuisance that has been created by his trees encroaching into your airspace. If your neighbour does not like any gentleman way then you can file a police complaint against your neighbour for causing nuisance and creating threat of bodily harm due to falling of coconut and branches.
