For what purpose you want that POA is more important. It is not mandatory to registered it depending up on the purpose. But registration or POA will give absolute ownership to the person who get it. Reards

After 2010 amendment in sec 17 of registration act, irrevocable power of attorney for transfer of immovable property in any mode requires to be registered.other power of attorney nt required to b registered. same has to be registered within 4 months of its execution .same period may be extended for another 4 months vd penalty as prescribed.
