Is Legal heirship certificate required for bank loan

Hello, Iam planning to buy a property which is part of a partition deed dated 2012.This deed partition deed is executed between widow and children of decreased person (died in 1978) who was sole owner of the land as per deed executed in 1959. Do i need to get legal heirship certificate of the people involved in partition deed for bank loanfor the purchase of above property? Please note iam buying only a small portion from this deed.Also current deed was executed in 2002

Definitely..... It is immaterial whether you buy a small or large extent. Legal heir certificate and death certificate are mandatory in your case. If the death is not registered with the local authority you can take the alternative steps to get the death certificate.
