31-Dec-2024 (In Property Law)
I purchased flat in under construction project and in sales agreement it's mentioned covered car parking but not mentioned in index ll. So is it mandatory to mention in index ll? will it create any problem to me while resell or can society challenge me?

No it is not compulsory to mention in Index II the car parking till the time the agreement and the schedule of the agreement mentions the same. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.

Well, Index II is the proof of Ownership. If Parking Space has not been registered in the Index II, it means, that, you do not own the Parking Space. If the Parking Space has been sold to you, it would have been recorded in Index II.
