Is having a temporary structure on your roof is legal?

We live on the third floor of a building and have the roof rights. We want to install portal cabins om the roof for having paying guest and generating extra income from the same. Is that legal? Can we have temporary structures made on our roof and what all permissions do we need before doing so?
Also, both the buildings to our left and right have portal cabins installed n their roofs and have tenants who are staying in the same from many years.

The structure you want to construct on your building above the third floor should be in accordance with the provisions laid down for construction by the Municipal corporation of Delhi of your concerned division /zone or area.
