Is builder eligible for 6 months grace period?

Builder gave written promised to give us compensation if project delayed after mentioned date in agreement(30 month from agreement)total 34 month delayed ,Now they are saying 6 month grace period will be added. Never mentioned 6 month grace period , The promoter shall be entitled to reasonable extension of time giving delivery of flat on the aforesaid date instead of clearly mentioned 6 months.Are they eligible getting 6 month grace period?

Dear Querist, if the grace period was mentioned in the agreement then he is entitle for it. Extension of any agreement can only be mutual consent of both parties.
In your case, sit together and decide but most of the agreements provide for 6 months extension.
