16-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Builder has delayed possession for more than a year but denying to pay interest? What are remedies available?
Dear Sir,
If you paid all the amount of flat & bulder not going to give you possession, then here is 2 remedies
1. you may file complaint in Consumer Court.
2. you may file Civil suit for possession of flat or house in Civil Court.
But my openion is that complaint in consumer court is more preferable than Civil Suit in civil court.
For details contact me.
Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam,
You can file a Consumer Complaint against the builder for seeking possession and for seeking damages against the builder along with interest. You can also file a criminal complaint against the builder for non delivery of possession under Maharashtra Ownership of Flats Act.
