Inheritance of ancestral property

15-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather inherited a house, land and a shop from his father. He had 2 sons and 2 daughters. My mother married in 1987 and died in 2016. My grandfather registered a will in 2018, granting property rights to his sons and a minimal amount to daughters. Grandfather has died in 2021.Is the will valid as it's an inherited property. Do we, as legal heirs of our mother have rights over the property despite the will? If yes, how do we receive the property share?

There is a huge difference between ancestral property and inherited property. You did not mention about how your grandfather inherited the property. If your grandfather executed a will then it is valid and properties will go accordingly.
