Importance, relevance and seriousness of CMP Notice

I received a CMP notice asking to appear, from a taluk sub court, related to a property dispute which was disposed off some 15 years ago. The notice is signed by Head clerk. I dont know what for I am called. How serious the CMP notice is. What is the purpose of issueing CMP notice.
If one of the parties in the said disposed of 15 years old case has filed an application for some purpose then notice will be issued to the other parties shown as respondents. Depending on the case it may affect your interest. You can engage a lawyer to proceed with the CMP.
