Illegal possession by outside persons

Dear Sir, We have a residential piece of land in a village in UP. It has been under illegal possession by a strong family of 5 brothers for over 40 years now. After the land survey the property has started showing up online in the name of my father who is alive. What are we supposed to do now to get our property back in our possession.

if a land you possessed for 40 years check and see search the title deed now the land survey has made it the land appear in the records in your father's name to get your property back you have to file a suit in the district court
