I Want To Gift Deed My Flat To My Wife

Currently in the name of myself and my deceased mother, i want to gift deed my property to my wife. Please tell me the process.
It seems that you are the owner of half of the property accordingly you can donate the same undivided half to your wife by way of registered deed of gift. Recently online registration is also started. You shall have to give 0.5% as stamp duty and 1.1% of the market value if the property is in West Bengal.

You didnot tell how many legal heirs your parents have. If you are the only living son of your parents you can certainly gift the portion of the property to your wife. In case there are other legal heirs the property should be divided according to the provisions of the Succession Law. Of course I assume that there is no present Will made by either of your parents or by each of them.
