How will property distribution take place for maternal property

we are all 5 siblings . we are two brothers and 3 sisters. we have a maternal property in which my mothers name is first 2) my name 3) my brother name. my mother died and now i want to ask how the property distribution will be done as my younger brother filed a civil property case on me .let me know how is the property distribution will take place ? pls help..i am roman catholic christian .
This is my response to you:
1. The laws of Indian Succession Act will apply in your case;
2. Once your mother expired, she died intestate;
3. Therefore as per law, her share will go to you, your brother and other 3 siblings;
4. Therefore your brother cannot claim the whole property as his, because everybody can stake their claim.
