How transfer a plot in my name which is in my mother's name

Sir i had a plot which is registerd in my mother's name....& plot is 143.... but my mother passed away last year....and plot area is not under nagar nigam....how my plot will come in my name...my plot is in mandhana kanpur nagar
You will have to obtain a legal heir certificate from the tehsildar's office or a succession certificate from court in case the tehsildar denies to provide you the said certificate. After that the said property will be transferred in your name at the registrar's office.

if you are the only legal representative of your deceased mother you are absolute owner of such plot on the basis of sole legal representative.
