21-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello Sir, We live in Santacruz East, Mumbai-55 and are now allotted 1BHK flat under the SRA scheme. My father has passed away few months back and ownership of the house is on my father's name. We want to transfer the ownership of the flat from father to Mother to avoid problems in future. We do not know the process, procedure. There are agents and few officials who want lot of money to do the work but we feel scared to believe in them. Kindly, request you to give me details of process and procedure on how to transfer a house in SRA Scheme from Husband to Wife in case of Husband's death.?

Dear Sir/Madam,

When you done previous registration for allotment of flat in SRA at the time of your father alive, same process you need to do now but only difference is transfer of name of owner, Husband (Deceased) to Wife.

No need to transfer to sale deed, or other doucment,

Thanks,
