How to initiate settlement of family property dispute

17-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi my father, my uncle & my aunt have one single property which is in form of big plot under there name, and now my father wants to separate the share and devide the area in three different names. But my uncle & aunt are not taking the matter seriously and delaying the process, as I'm informed that it will take all holders signature to devide the property but my aunt and uncle are not ready to sign on it, they are showing authority over complete property. What legal action can i take regarding it, my father wants to get his share of property ASAP so that either we can sell it or build something over it. Please help my religion is Hindu n I'm punjabi.

If the joint family property is encestral property then for its partition amongst all co sharer a civil suit for partition can be instituted before the competent civil court. The suit can be filed by your father against all of his brothers and sisters
