How to initiate partitioning of family property

25-May-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello & Good Day . I'm male single 42(Hindu- eldest Son ) from Kochi , My personal financial problems are forcing me to think of asking my SHARE from my parents - How can I make a formal request? - without possible Dispute ? I need something like total dislocation from my family (parents) My first attempt was not successful because parents seems not cooperative - looks like they come up with diff justifications and even try to avoid such topic My 2 other Siblings are younger sisters living in the US (not really concerned of my request )-they pretend as if i'm totally Unimportant person . please advise me on this matter - Thanks Imyani

Your understanding of the issue is misconceived. You have have right to seek share in the parents' property during their life; your right to inheritance is limited to their property left intestate. The only exception is if the property is ancestral.
