You can contact me with all papers relating to the property and the decree obtained by your grandfather. A proper vetting and a case needs to be filed at the appropriate court for relief and change of name to be done in your favour in the records of BLLRO office.

It is very simple process. You shall have to make an application for correction of record of rights before the BLLRO concerned annexing the decree of the civil court and shall have to pray for correction of the name in the ROR (Porcha). However, in West Bengal, the BLLROs take enormous time in disposing of the applications hence after few days of filing such application, hence people approach to the LRTT in Salt Lake for a direction upon the BLLRO concerned to dispose of the application for correction of ROR, once the direction is given the BLLRO promptly does the corrections thereof. All my clients obtained prompt reliefs in that way. All the best Regards
