As per Hindu Succession Act, property devolves equally upon Class 1 heirs (including sons and daughters), if there is no Will written. If your grandmother had only two children and the property was self-acquired property, and if there is no Will written by the grandmother, then, your mother should get 50% of the share. However, one can direct you correctly only after understanding the facts and circumstances in detail.
