How to get assets registration transferred after fathers death.

30-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello, My father has expired last week. He was having proprietorship firm of selling goods. Applicable TAXES were MVAT. As he has expired, we don't know where has he managed the VAT money came to him. Now what can be done, 1) Registered office is on his name. 2) A flat has registered in his name. What can be done if we want to save it from legal proceedings rather than paying the amount. Thanks again

Dear Sir/Madam,

First od all you need obtain Fathers Death Certificate from Corporation & then apply for his legal heirship certificate in Court.

After getting this 2 documents you can transfer ownership of Office & flat at you name.

About the VAT & Taxes we need to study all statements & documts related with it.

For Details Feel free to cantact me.

Wish you a Happy Diwali.

Thanks

First thing you need to take legal heir ship certificate from the court of law if you were the only legal heir to your father & no will is made your father in other favour. Rest thing will done accordingly.
