There is legal right of your mother in your fathers property as a HUF
If subject property is purchased by your father by himself only in that case he can transfer that property by his wish in anyone’s name if you want to stop than need too see your property kind than you may file suit for protecting your mothers right.

Respected sir,
If your father has made a will than you cannot claim share as it is his own choice. However, as per the Hindu law if there is no will and your mother is still alive then she has the first and prior claim above all as being class 1 heir. This is the basic information based in your query.

Tell your father to make a Will in that respect and just tell him the practical situation which may arise after the property has been handed over in their lifetime. If he wants to give the property to daughter -in-law then in Will write the same clearly by making such provisions which will protect your mother's interest during her lifetime.
