How to claim grandmother's immovable property.

My grandmother, father and mother all are expired and I m living in my grandmother's house with my cousin. We have divided our grandmother's property into halves and living in our sections. Now I want to claim my portion of the property. I had a brother that also has been expired but his wife is alive and has three sons where as I have only one son and daughter. I have two married sisters also. My cousin has three married sisters. Now please tell me how can I claim my portion of the property bcoz i constructed house over it and also tell me what documents i require and the procedure to claim the property.

you can file a partition suit in the civil court where the court decide you portion or part in the property. if you have the paper of the property then submit it in the court if no paper available the file light bill house tax etc your adhar card and details of all legal heirs if the property

let all of your sign a family settlement and amicably identify your respective portions/share in this house. all the legal heirs who have a stake in the property would be required to sign this family arrangement.
