23-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
My parents got divorced when I was 4 my custody was given to my mom. There was an alimony. Which stated that I had share in my dad's property. When I was 10 my mom married someone and I lived at my maternal grandparents house. Then when I was 17 my dad took over my custody. I came to Bombay for college but now my dad has stopped helping me financially. He has blocked my numbers. So in this case for my help can I claim the property

Absolutely you claim over property of your father. But property is to be ancistrestral. If the property is self acquired by your father then father has right to chose whom it to alienate. But u can claim your ancistrestral property.

Send a legal notice to your father. Get in touch with your mother and ask her to cooperate in this matter. Even after both these steps there is no help availed then file a writ petition in High Court citing urgency under right to lead a life with decent source of Parent's contribution alongwith share in property.
