How to check the status of stay order with OS number

We asked our lawyer to make a stay order on our house , such that we can start our construction work . from last 10 days he is delaying the stay order . Can please tell in how many days stay order can come. and how to know the status of Stay order number with OS number.
Giving stay order depends on many aspects. You should have clear and marketable title. You have not mentioned who is stopping your construction work i.e.Municipality or any individual person. From which court you want the stay lower court or High Court. Unless you give all the details, it is difficult to answer your query. In lower court it is called as statusquo not stay.
Normally, statusquo will be granted immediately i.e. within one week or 10 days that too if you have good title and Possession. If your title is good, you can even get Injunction not to interfere anybody into your property.
