How to calculate registration fees of a property

03-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
While buying a property, consider government estimated value as 10 lakhs whereas actual market value is 25 lakhs. So I am buying the property at market rate i.e 25 lakhs(everything in legal transactions through bank) Now while registration is it legal to mention property value as 15 lakhs? ( it's more than govt estimated value but less than market value). Also whats the total land registration charge?

To avoid the stamp duty the sale consideration amount may mentioned as less price in the sale deed there is no problem in mentioning as less than market price or higher then government value unless both of you parties to the sale deed have no issues. The registration charge you can check with the sub registrar office or visit our office for further information.
