Can we bring stay order on a living house....where people lives....as i want to stop my brother from renovating our house bcoz i want my 1 share of that house as my mother dies without will ...n i lives seperately..
You have not yet filed any case to implement the will. So you will not succeed in taking stay. You have to file a case for probate first. Then file case for Partition and stay together. You are advised to engage a good Lawyer

Yes You can file the petition for stay orders to stop the material renovation ,
the court will not allow the stay on alteration, if the house is in such a condition that renovation is must .
