How to Address BDA Regarding Land Acquisition

21-Mar-2024 (In Property Law)
Our property is currently undergoing BDA's land acquisition process. Established in 1991, our layout received notice from BDA in 2008 regarding their intent to acquire land for NPKL development. At that time, our layout was already 50% developed with residential constructions. I purchased a plot within this layout in 2015. My questions:Can the survey number of our land be removed from BDA's acquisition list, given that our layout now comprises 80% residential properties? What is the process for

if your plot was part of a layout which was either approved or was in the process of approval during the time when acquisition was notified, then you have a legal standing to ask for dropping your layant from process of acquisition by BDA. Otherwise your land owner/ developer should have taken legal steps for such cancellation. Ask them if they have taken any such steps.
