18-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
My father passed away.he is survived by myself,my mother and his mother, my paternal grandmother.he also have another brother.my grandmother lives with us.as far as i know by law my father's aquired property will be shared equally among the three of us.my father has not done any will.so if we r going to sell my fathers acquired property how can we sell it.as my grandmother is bedridden and not physically fit to do all the official works.what are the steps we can take to make the process smooth.will taking power of attorney from my grandmother work or registering her share of property in ours?

Any sale will have to be between all of the successors and the prospective buyer. There shouldn't be any problem since your grandmother is bedridden...the registration of the sale deed can be done by getting a commissioner to your place of residence. Although this will add to the cost of the registration, it is convenient as the registration of the sale deed can take place without you having to go anywhere.
