How can i stop my father from selling property ?

Sir, my father is a completely alcoholic man. he always use to say to my mother that I will sell that land. actually we have a land outside city which is in my father's name. how to stop land from being sold ?, can we do something that that land can't be sold without our family concern. Please help.. please
As per law of the land a person who is not of sound mind or one who is unable to think or take decision with healthy mind can't execute an agreement to sell his land. Contact a good lawyer and act accordingly as per his advice.

If the property is purchased by your father himself, he can sale it as per his choice normally he can't be stopped from selling the property. But if property has been transferred without consent or in drunken condition, it can be set aside. A suit for injunction can also be filled... Consult a good laywer..

Yes, you can file a Suit for injunction against your father restraining him from alienating the same. If your father is the absolute owner of the land, you will have to be very careful while filing the suit as dexterous drafting of the Plaint alone can save you.
