How can brother sister divide fathers self made property after him

My dad has n number of properties yet he is self aquired ..So after him myself with my brothers want share in property.please give me your suggestion.we are hindus

If you and your brothers are willing to divide shares equally and amicably, you may make it through a registered partition deed.

And I can advice you further if you feed me more information.

Both of you along with your mom have equal rights in respect of the properties of your father. However if your father is alive you can't compel your father to give equal shares. Since it is self earned property, your father have absolute right to alienate the same as per his wishes. If you people are minor only, your father is supposed to provide maintenance. In the event of your father's death when there is no specific Will and in the absence of alienation of the same all of you are having equal rights in all the properties whether it is house or land or any other fixed assets.
