Home loan against the property registered in fathers name

I want to apply for a home loan, but the property is registered in my father's name. Is it possible? Can anybody help clarify my understanding of home loans?what issue may arise if my father dies and later my brother ask for property.

Hi,
If you want to apply for bank loan then you have to approach the bank loan department they will tell you the complete details. You said that the property stands in the name of your father then he is the person to whom the bank will give loan if satisfied with the documents. If the property stands in the name of your father then your brother alone is not entitle to the estate until your father writes in his name.
