Grandparents died without any property transfer but aunt claiming it

01-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
My grand mother owns a property and due to heart attack she demised without giving property rite to any one after that my grand father also demised without giving property rite to any one. My mother is 1st daughter and another 2 daughters also there. Now my aunt (mother's elder sister) says my grandfather wrote the property on her name and we are no way concerned on this property. Is the way legal or illegal??? Kindly suggest for further approach. religion : Hindu

if you think that your grand mother died intestate your mother can claim a share in her property under section 14 of the hindu succession act if you are hindus and your mother and you by birth can claim a share in your mother share

HI,
If they are having any documentary proof as to they are the only owners that have to be looked into. Send them a legal notice asking to come forward and divide the property in 3 shares equally and if they doe snot then file a suit for partition in the court . call us through the website for further assistance .
