Grandmother gave property through will now aunt asking her share

21-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
as my maternal grand parents had four daughters and no sons, I was brought up in their house. Before my grandfather death he transferred the all his property on to my grandmother. when I was 18 my grandmother had written the property to me as will on 22nd January 1974. after all these years I look after the property as I am owner. But now three of my aunts went to court seeking for partition. Now I have question that whether their case is valid. If it is yes, how I have to face them. kindly give me some advice. Thanking you sir

you need to file the will and examine the witnesses the will and need to prove the existence of the will under section 65 of the evidence act and then you claim your property and seek damages from them

Your aunts can not succeed their case as they sleep over their right more than 42 years. Even if they proved WILL is invalid you can protect under adverse possession under 27 of limitation Act. So you no need to worry
