GPA under deceased FIL's name need to transfer to his wife's name

07-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
The GPA of the DDA flat is under my late father in law's name and the same needs to be transferred to my MIL's name. She has a son and 2 daughters all are married. One daughter had passed away long back who has a son, 18+ and a daughter in 12th std. Can the GPA be transferred to MIL's name and we can make it freehold?

If all the other legal heirs, such as other children of the demised father, gives NOC in favour of your mother in law then the same can be transferred by applying directly to the DDA. Also for lease hold to free hold conversion you would require to apply in the department of DDA. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks
