GPA Holder Dies, What to do now?

03-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My father bought a residential property from "A" in an unauthorized colony in Delhi (which is being now authorized by the Govt.) with the following documents: GPA (Registered), WILL (Registered), AFFIDAVIT & Agreement To Sell (Notarized). My father died last month, what am i supposed to do now? What are the valid documents from the above mentioned documents now? What would be the steps involved towards the transfer of the property right to my mother's name? Please advice for the same. You can directly contact me at [email protected].

You need to apply for succession certificate or Letter of administration by filing a petition before the concerned District Judge. In case your father had written a Will, then the probate petition needs to be filed
