Gift my own acquired property to mother

Can I gift my property to my mother but the property is in my married name and I use my maiden name now after divorce so us there any legal hassle

Yes, For registration purpose difficulty may arise because of different name. Therefore you use your married name in your Aadhar card and PAN card. If do you want to marry again you can sell that property to your mother.

You sure can gift your self acquired property to any person including your mother. It won't matter what name appears on property documents i.e. your maiden or married name. Name doesn't change after divorce by itself. You may require gazette publication about name change. Only thing to see is that property must not qualify to be benami i.e. contribution from husband's side while acquiring it.
