Filed partition suit in court for ancestral property issue in banaras

Hi Sir, I am living in mumbai and my family is in varanasi and we have a ancestral property dispute. We have filed a partition suit in court as all other option like mutual talks not working. Now my family is being threatened everyday so can i file a police complaint in mumbai regarding this. Please advice. Appreciate your help.
If threatening u in mumbai then jurisdiction is mumbai for fir nd if threatening in varansi then jurisdiction is varansi. So you firstly inform in the court where partition case is painding then do next process
