Father refusing to transfer grandfather's property
01-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My father has been talking about giving away his all his assets, including my grandfather's house (which technically belongs to him now by power of attorney given by my late grandfather) to my brother. As a daughter, I want to know, what are my legal options & can I be excluded from my ancestral inheritance by the will of my father?
I understand your point.. The grandsons or granddaughters have no right to inherit or claim any share in the property of the grandfather or grandmother if their own father or mother are alive. The grandchild does not have a birthright on the self-acquired property of the grandparent...for further clearance do contact me
hello sir according to your query you are not clear you are Hindu a Muslim but I will suggest you according to Hindu succession act according to your query you are eligible and you are right will be created after the death of your grandfather .. you can file a partition suit in nearest civil Court
