Father bought property and lost bond papers how to get original doc

my dad has bought a land from mr. xyz few year back now my dad has lost a original 2000rs bond paper of that deal. but we have a photo copy of that bond we need that urgently so what to do how to get origional back plzzzz help. thank you.
If Property documents lost, you can file a complaint at your jurisdiction Police Station. And also Public Notice regarding the same has to published in daily news paper. If you not found the originals, you can apply for the certified copy before the concerned Sub Registrar office.

You informed that your father had bought a land. You have not mentioned that it is purchased or GPA or how he brought?
Any way you also informed that he lost 2000 bond paper.
Please see,
if it was the registered agreement of sale, please file a compliant with a local jurisdictional police with regard to misplacing or losing of of the original sale Deed.
As you informed that you have a xerox copy of the said document. Then by taking the registration number from that said xerox copy of the bond, apply for the certified copy of document. They will provide. If it was traced then it will be fine, but other wise your need to go for certified copy of the documents at the concerned sub registrar .

Hi, You need to give complaint to police and get the FIR copy. Then you can apply for original at registrar office. You need to talk to lawyer in taking forward the complaint. Your advocate would have to do some work in this regard to get FIR done.
