Family Settelment Deed in Telangana

04-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Sir / Madam I am from Telangana. My parents are alive and we are 2 brothers 4 sisters. My father has decided to share the properties (Agriculture land, Residential land and a house) among all of us. We all are agreed and signed on a paper. Now i want to formalise by registering at Registrar office. My question is 1. Can we execute Family settlement deed or any other type of deed? 2. If family settlement deed is ok, then can my father execute? or we all brothers and sister together have to execute? 3. My brother was supposed to me give Rs. 30 lakhs and he confirmed in writing that i can take land for worth of that amount. If i mention the same in deed do i have to pay stamp duty? 4. Can i execute the deed in Telugu language because my sisters does not read english and i want to avoid issues in future.

Yes settlement deed can be registered and all the legal heirs should agree and sign on it. As far as amount settlement is conserned you can also mention it in same deed including every one's share in the property and amount settled in between family nembers.
